We are pleased to be progressing works on a newly awarded project in Bishopsgate, with a contract value of approximately £800k + VAT. The scheme involves the careful restoration of a collection of Grade II listed buildings surrounding a central plaza, forming an important part of London’s historic built environment.
The scope of works includes specialist masonry cleaning to restore original façades, targeted repairs to areas of deterioration, and full external redecoration across all elevations. In addition, localised roof repairs will be undertaken to ensure long-term weatherproofing and the continued integrity of the buildings.
Pre-construction planning and access strategy development are currently underway, with works due to commence on site shortly. Careful coordination is being undertaken to ensure minimal disruption within this busy central London location.
Due to the listed status and sensitive nature of the buildings, the project requires a considered, conservation-led approach. A combination of rope access and traditional scaffold solutions will be utilised, allowing works to be carried out efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, precision, and care.
