We are looking for an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple construction projects from pre-start through to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with contractual, commercial, and quality requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously
• Lead pre-start meetings, programme planning, and project mobilisation
• Review contracts, specifications, and drawings to ensure full understanding of project requirements
• Monitor progress, programme performance, and resource allocation
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with H&S regulations, quality standards, and company procedures
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and progress reviews
• Coordinate with clients, site teams, QS, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve issues promptly
• Manage variations, scope changes, delays, and commercial impacts
• Ensure accurate project reporting, risk management, and documentation
• Support procurement of labour, materials, and specialist subcontractors
• Drive high standards of communication, professionalism, and customer satisfaction
• Lead project handover, snagging, and close-out documentation

 

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, legislation, H&S, and quality standards
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project costing and contract terms
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

 

Qualifications

• Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) – preferred
• SMSTS and CSCS Manager’s card
• First Aid at Work (advantageous)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related elements of construction projects, ensuring value for money, financial efficiency, and robust commercial control from initial estimates through to final account.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies
• Manage and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare, negotiate, and agree subcontractor packages, contracts, and variations
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and assess commercial impacts
• Measure and value work completed, producing interim and final valuations
• Prepare monthly cost reports, cashflow forecasts, and financial updates
• Assess contractual claims, mitigate commercial risks, and advise on cost-saving strategies
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure accurate take-offs
• Manage procurement processes and maintain strong supplier/subcontractor relationships
• Produce and agree final accounts in line with contractual requirements
• Support the wider project team with contractual, commercial, and cost-related advice

 

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts and commercial procedures
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with site and office teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-standard QS software/tools
• High attention to detail with a proactive and organised approach

 

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (desired)
• Membership or working towards membership of RICS (advantageous)

We are seeking a hands-on, organised, and safety-focused Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites. The successful candidate will ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep the project running smoothly.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations and ensure all works are carried out safely and efficiently
• Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, and H&S briefings
• Monitor progress against programme and report updates to the Contracts Manager
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries, and site resources
• Ensure quality control, compliance with specifications, and accurate record-keeping
• Identify and resolve site issues promptly to avoid delays
• Carry out site inspections and maintain site diaries and relevant documentation
• Enforce company policies, RAMS, and statutory H&S requirements
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional site environment
• Communicate effectively with clients, neighbours, and other stakeholders when required
• Assist with snagging, handovers, and project close-out tasks

 

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, sequencing, and H&S legislation
• Excellent leadership and coordination skills
• Ability to plan ahead, problem-solve, and manage multiple tasks on a busy site
• Good communication and people skills, with the ability to motivate site teams
• IT-literate with the ability to complete reports and maintain records
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

 

Qualifications

• SMSTS (or SSSTS with strong experience)
• CSCS Supervisor/Manager card
• First Aid at Work
• Relevant construction qualification (advantageous)
