We completed specialist roof waterproofing works across multiple roof areas at a Bembridge Hotel using the Centaur liquid waterproofing system to extend the service life of the existing roof coverings.
The project involved the refurbishment of a variety of roof substrates, each requiring careful preparation through high-pressure cleaning and localised surface treatment before waterproofing works commenced. Appropriate primers were applied where required, followed by the installation of a fully reinforced liquid waterproofing system incorporating glass fibre mat reinforcement to provide a seamless, durable protective membrane.
Particular attention was given to roof perimeters, upstands and termination details to ensure complete weather protection across all roof areas. By refurbishing the existing roofs rather than replacing them, the project provided a cost-effective and sustainable solution while significantly improving long-term performance.
The completed works have enhanced the resilience of the building envelope, providing reliable weatherproofing with minimal disruption to the hotel’s day-to-day operations.
