Our Roofing Division were recently instructed to apply a Liquid Overlay System within a lightwell to a commercial property in the City of London.
The Rooflock 12 overlay system was applied to an asphalt roof between two properties.
In preparation of this project, the existing solar paint was removed by mechanically abrading then jet washing it, which included the masonry uptands as necessary.
The Rooflock system was then applied which consisted of a Rooflock epoxy primer, followed by a coat of Rooflock 12 embedment with GFM reinforcement and the Rooflock 12 top coat.
Following masonry repairs to the upstands as required, new termination bars were then installed to the perimeter upstands and then sealed.
